1. Purpose

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC) govern the sale of personalized handmade clothing and objects (embroidery, flocking, sublimation, engraving, etc.) offered by Au fil du Lac to individuals and professionals.

2. Products

Each product is manually personalized according to the client's instructions. Therefore, each creation is unique. Slight variations may exist from one item to another and cannot be considered defects.

3. Orders

The order becomes final after written validation (email, message, quote signature) and full or partial payment of the amount, according to the agreed conditions. The client is solely responsible for the information provided for personalization. Once production has started, no modifications will be possible.

4. Prices

Prices are expressed in euros and are not subject to VAT (VAT not applicable, article 293 B of the French General Tax Code - CGI). Au fil du Lac reserves the right to modify its prices at any time. However, products are invoiced at the price in effect on the order date.

5. Payment

5.1 Individual Clients

Payment is required upon order. No item will be handed over or shipped without full payment.

5.2 Professional Clients

Professionals have 20 calendar days from the invoice reception date to make payment. In case of delay, penalties will be automatically applied, without prior reminder: Late interest rate: 3 times the legal interest rate in force. Flat-rate compensation for recovery costs: €40, in accordance with article L441-10 of the French Commercial Code. Any delay exceeding 30 days may result in the suspension of ongoing orders.

6. Production Times

Production time varies depending on the complexity of the order and the volume requested. An indicative timeframe will be communicated upon order validation. A delay cannot give rise to any compensation.

7. Delivery

Deliveries can be made: In person (by arrangement), By postal shipment or carrier, with or without tracking, depending on the chosen option. Delivery costs are borne by the client. Once the package is handed over to the carrier, Au fil du Lac disclaims all responsibility in case of loss, theft, or damage.

8. Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to personalized goods made according to the consumer's specifications.

9. Complaints

Any complaint must be submitted within 7 days of receiving the order, accompanied by photos. Normal variations related to artisanal manufacturing will not be considered defects.

10. Intellectual Property

The designs, visuals, and creations made by Au fil du Lac remain its exclusive property. Any reproduction or commercial use is prohibited without written authorization.

11. Personal Data

Personal data is used only for order management and is never transmitted to third parties. In accordance with current regulations, the client may request the modification or deletion of their data at any time.

12. Applicable Law - Disputes

These GTC are governed by French law. In case of a dispute, the parties will endeavor to find an amicable solution. Failing that, the competent courts will be those of the jurisdiction of the sole proprietorship's registered office.
